DIRTY JOBS Back on Tuesday, January 6; MAN VS. WILD Returns Monday, January 12

(Silver Spring, Md.) – Two of Discovery Channel’s most popular series will kick off 2009 with all-new premiere episodes beginning in January. DIRTY JOBS’ intrepid Mike Rowe and MAN VS. WILD’s adventuresome Bear Grylls take viewers to new locales that are each in their own ways exotic, challenging and extreme – from plugging abandoned mines (Rowe) to surviving in the Dominican Republic during the region’s extremely harsh hurricane season (Grylls).

New Season Full of "Firsts" For Popular Series

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – December 18, 2008 – NBC announced today the 11 new teams of two who will be competing in "The Biggest Loser: Couples," premiering Tuesday, January 6 (8-10 p.m. ET). Alison Sweeney (NBC's "Days of our Lives") hosts the popular series, and trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels also star.

It's the biggest season ever on "The Biggest Loser" with 11 couples who begin the show with a combined weight of more than 3.5

 

NEW YORK - December 18, 2008 - Oxygen will ring in the New Year with a "Bad Girls Club" Bad Bowl, a football-themed marathon of the first three episodes of the hit series "Bad Girls Club" season three. Season two's breakout star and baddest bad girl Tanisha will host with whistle and penalty flags in hand. During the marathon, Tanisha will be calling the shots in a referee uniform, issuing penalties on the bad girls and their wild and outlandish behavior.
