This week’s episode of 24 Hour Restaurant Battle is between two couples, one new and one old. Justin and JJ have only been together for seven months, but both have restaurant experience. Justin is a bit of a food snob, and JJ has a clear idea of what she wants. Lisa and Zach, on the other hand have been together for 5 years, met as bartender and manager, and know a lot about running a restaurant.

Tonight’s 24 Hour Restaurant Battle has two teams are both best friends with dreams of opening a restaurant. Danushka and Angela plan on opening a restaurant called Relish, while Mark and Charlie want to open a restaurant called Amici. Like always, the teams have to design a concept, a menu, the décor and manage a wait staff. Amici gets a slower start, and never makes a grocery list when they go shopping. On tonight's episode of 24 Hour Restaurant Battle we are joined by two teams of two. The first team is Ces and Erik, long time best friends who worked together as sous chef and housekeeper for a hotel. The second team is sisters Barbara and Lisa, one a chef and the other a front of the house manager. The two teams have 24 hours to create their concept, plan a menu, design and shop for front of the house and manage the kitchen and wait

Tonight marked the season premier of 24 Hour Restaurant Battle. Think of it as Top Chef’s "Restaurant Wars" challenge rolled into an entire show. Scott Conant, of Chopped fame, hosts the show. Two teams divide a warehouse sized room into two and have 24 hours to create a concept, plan a menu, design and shop for the front of the house décor and create their restaurant with a $4000 budget. They receive a staff to help but also must manage the staff.

Producers from Food Network and The Next Food Network Star have done it again with their new show 24 Hour Restaurant Battle which premiers Wednesday, July 21st. There will also be a sneak peak episode airing on Sunday July 18th, after The Next Food Network Star. The show takes two teams of two, with or without restaurant experience, and pits them against each other to see whose restaurant will be a five star and whose will be an epic fail.
