Tonight, on the finale of The Great American Road Trip, the final two families make their way to the finish line – the Cootes and the DiSalvatores. From the very beginning, I didn’t like the Cootes. They have been cocky and rude the entire season. As crazy as the DiSalvatores are, they’ve grown on me so I’m going to root for them here… especially since my beloved Pollard family was eliminated last week!
Reno meets up with the families and tells them that their final

Tonight, on The Great American Road Trip, just three families remain in the competition. The Pollards and the DiSalvatores are quite sick of the Cootes winning every King of the Road challenge and you can’t really blame them. The RVs make a stop in Boulder City, Nevada, where they meet up with host Reno Collier.
In tonight’s challenge, families will have to face their fear of heights and take a ride down a zip line. During the ride, they’ll have to throw balloons to

Tonight, on The Great American Road Trip, the final three teams continue down Route 66 and RealityWanted is proud to say that its very own member Amie Pollard and her family are still in the competition! The first stop is the Roadkill Café in Seligman, AZ. I shall pass on anything off of that menu, thank you very much. Amy DiSalvatore has had quite enough of being in the RV with her all male, Italian family, so she takes a break and rides with the Pollards.

On tonight’s episode of The Great American Road Trip, the final four families make a pit stop at Slide Rock State Park in Arizona. The place literally lives up to its name as no one can stay on their feet while attempting to relax in the streams. Silvio’s fall was the best one… thank God he didn’t get his hair wet! It was a big day for Mr. DiSalvatore. Not only did he take a swim, but he learned how to pump gas.

On tonight’s episode of The Great American Road Trip, the remaining five families are at the halfway point on Route 66. At the Midway Café, the contestants think that they’re in for a special surprise but are greeted by host Reno Collier. For a minute, they’re all scared (and who can blame them) that a challenge is coming their way but that’s not the case… yet. The families are going to have a pie eating contest just for fun and the winners get to go shopping in the gift shop. The
