The heat is on and the tables have turned. With six remaining teams, Treasure Hunters is gearing up for their season finale and it is reported to be a live show. It should be interesting to see the teams face off in a live scenario especially if it involves the Southie Boys, who as of yet, incur the most "bleeps" over their banter.
Episode 6 opens with the teams departing for Paris, France with death mask in tow. They are instructed to find and decode the secret correspondence of America's first spy.

This week, the treasure hunters depart on a wicked hunt for a $30,000 gold bounty, an added bonus before the next team gets eliminated. Underground secret railroads are the key to this episode's adventures.
The first clue lies at their doorsteps. In the morning's paper, the teams search for their next destination. A reprint of a Walt Whitman article leads them to a secret underground tunnel in downtown Brooklyn. Episode 3 opens in Boston with the Grad Students gracefully bowing out of the competition due to the severity of Jessica's leg injury. With their departure, the Brown Family re-enters the hunt, which upsets the Hanlons sense of fair play. The contrast between these two teams continues to be evident throughout the entire episode.
As the hunt gets underway, the teams are instructed to begin at the Old Burke School in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Locating the school proves to be quite a challenge. Everyone, except the Fogals and the Air Force

It's early in the season to be declaring the Fogal family, one of the nine remaining Treasure Hunters teams, hypocrites. However, it's pretty difficult not to think this family has fallen halos after watching their antics.
Webster defines hypocrisy as the practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess. Pastor Fogal and his paltry crew have touted their supposed faith and religious beliefs while stealing, double-dealing and deceiving. In episode one, we saw how the Fogals betrayed their counterparts seemingly at every chance they got.

The NBC Agency and Clear Channel Radio today announced a unique national radio campaign for NBC's upcoming adventure/mystery reality series "Treasure Hunters," which premieres this Sunday, June 18 (8-10 p.m. ET). Beginning today, a serial set of spots that grow in length will run each hour on Clear Channel Radio stations in the top 15 demographic market areas.
