Julie Chase, an Oregon saddle-maker who has an elevated sense of sarcasm, trades places with Judy Lane, an upper-middle class San Diego, CA, professional whose life is centered around her partner, Pepper, and their two children, 9-year old Corey and 6-year old Shea.
