When you think of current artists on the pop, country, and R&B charts, the music of The Rat Pack doesn’t exactly come to mind. American Idol, however, is out to change that on tonight’s performance episode. The Top 5 take the stage, with a little help from mentor Jamie Foxx, who apparently is an expert on The Rat Pack because he starred in the movies Ray and Dreamgirls. With two episodes and six players left, the suspense of the $250,00 winner is becoming increasingly exciting! Prancer’s “athletic ability” was the hot topic of the show, so I could have almost guessed she would become the Paymaster. The show started with news that made me want to tune out. Melissa injured herself in rehearsals this week and did not compete tonight during the actual show.
