It’s “Idol Gives Back” week on American Idol and the theme is planned accordingly. This week the contestants will be singing inspirational songs, mentored by the one and only, Alicia Keys. She’s the perfect mentor for the group this week: besides her array of beautiful and heartwarming songs she has created over the years, she is actively involved in helping people with HIV and AIDs. Last week on The Celebrity Apprentice, it was a showdown of the celebrities who showed up. Several of the show's stars (aka the only ones who people actually recognize) were gone, leaving the rest to fight it out in a test of who could make the best deodorant advertisement. In the end, Rocksolid won but still lost a member in Michael Johnson, who had personal issues. Meanwhile, the women fought it out in the boardroom and Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks was the next celebrity fired.

The second episode of Private Chefs of Beverly Hills starts with a busy week for Big City Chefs. The three events are a 35th birthday bash for a “Foodzilla” wife’s husband, a murder mystery party in a Scottish castle and a Gourmet Dinner Club where the diners each bring one item and the chefs have to create something Iron Chef style.
Chef Brian and Chef Brooks are assigned to the Murder Mystery party thrown by Denise, the owner of an exact replica Scottish castle.
