Teresa Giudice and Dina Manzo from The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 2

On Monday, May 3, The Real Housewives of New Jersey return to Bravo for their second season. When we last left the ladies of the Garden State, tables were flipped, accusations flew, friendships were damaged, and pregnancies were announced. If you can believe it, season 2 promises even more fights and more drama and today, Teresa Giudice and Dina Manzo spoke to RealityWanted and reporters in a press conference call about becoming reality stars, the projects that they have going on, and whether or not they have any regrets.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Did you the two of you have reservations about initially being part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey?
A. Dina: Of course we had reservations. We actually turned it down a few times when it came our way. Obviously, we can't control everything that we film. What you saw was real and we had no idea it was going to get so crazy. From my end of things, I have no regrets and it all happened organically.
A. Teresa: Same here. It took me 11 months to sign the contract. I was debating whether or not to do it. I knew I didn't have any skeletons in my closet so I didn't have a problem with putting my life out there. It was real. I don't go around flipping tables every time I get mad.
A. Dina: I've never seen her flip a table before that!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Teresa, can you tell us a little bit about your cookbook that you have coming out next month?
A. Teresa: I'm really, really excited. It's a life and style book, keeping the old traditions and keeping it going. My parents are off the boat Italian. I'm first generation here. I grew up eating all the recipes in the book and now I cook them for my kids. I'm really proud of it and put my families in there. Last season, you didn't see me cooking in my house so everyone thought I had a cook and a maid. This season, you'll see me

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Dina, has the fame from doing Real Housewives helped you with your charity work and with Project Ladybug?
A. Dina: Oh my God! That's really primarily why I decided to do the show and it helped tremendously. Things got crazy and it was a dark time during filming but I don't regret it because Project Ladybug has really taken off. We're a national foundation. I'm so proud and the show definitely, definitely helped.

Q. What is your opinion of the whole Jersey Shore phenomenon?
A. Teresa: Does that really happen in the Jersey Shore? Yes, it does. Am I fan of it? Would I let my teenager watch it? Not at all. It's not something I want my teenager to watch.
A. Dina: I met a couple of them, they're very nice people but I think that young America needs to be a little bit more responsible. I think our children need people to look up to.

Q. How has life changed since last season? Are you getting recognized when you're out?
A. Dina: We're constantly stopping to take pictures but I don't mind. Everyone's so nice and so gracious. It's humbling. With the foundation, people from all over the country who have or know someone with cancer have reached out. People aren't coming up to us and screaming at us.
A. Teresa: Everyone is nice. I guess the haters know to stay away, if we have any!

Q. Dina, what's the status of your relationship with Jacqueline?
A. Dina: We're all good. My favorite phrase is, "This too shall pass." I knew it would blow over eventually and that's how I live my life.

Q. What's been your contact with Danielle?
A. Dina: Who?
A. Teresa: We're going to see her at a People photo shoot.
A. Dina: Before the show, we weren't really friendly with her. We didn't know her. We were contracted to do a show with her so we did interact with her.

Q. Any regrets about what went down in season 1? Teresa, do you regret flipping the table?
A. Teresa: Not at all. I don't have any regrets because, as you saw, she did a lot of things to me and I kept my mouth shut. It was a build up and finally, I couldn't take her anymore. She did a lot of things that got me to that boiling point and I was done with her. That was the first time I've ever done that. Would I do that again? I guess if somebody got me to that point, I would. You can even see from the expression on my face, it was really real.
