The eighth episode of Work of Art: The Next Great Artist began with the six remaining artists arriving at the work room, where China and Simon were waiting. They announce that there are only 2 more challenges left. China announced that this week's challenge would involve the artists working in teams to create a piece of art with opposing themes.
