It was an unfortunate pairing on Platinum Hit, when Johnny and Nick were forced a song to write together for Gavin Degraw. Nick was moody and hardly contributed but he wasn't going home without a fight. Managing to convince the judges that he had absolutely nothing to do with the song and was shut out of the writing session, it was Johnny instead who got eliminated from the competition. Last night on The Bachelorette, it was our chance to see Ashley's final four suitors up close and personal as they each took her to their hometowns to meet their friends, their family and, the ultimate test--the parents.

Now, Ashley didn't react so well to Ryan pushing his parents on her last week, so I'm a little surprised to see her embracing this round of dates so much now.

For this week's challenge, it is lobster. The competitors have 60 minutes to create an amazing lobster dish, with the judges tasting the top three dishes.
 
We see some more of that cockiness from Christian, as lobster is his specialty, but towards the end his food processor breaks and plastic falls into it and he loses his temper from there, as his dish is falling apart. He pulls it together in the end and plates a decent

This week on Food Network Star marks the halfway point in the competition. It was midterm time and the contestants needed to incorporate everything they have learned over the last several weeks. Their camera challenge was to prepare their signature dish and present a two minute long demonstration for the camera as they focused on one area of improvement given to them by Bobby Flay. The pressure to do well this week was high, as two contestants would be going
