This episode focused primarily around Rosie's sexuality. The
exact time that Rosie came out wasn't revealed, but Kathy stated that
they were both well into their thirties when Rosie told her, so clearly
it was later in her life. Since all the adults know, Rosie felt it was
time to tell Kathy's children. She was nervous to tell them, but it
turns out that they were fine. Given their ages, I'm sure they had an
inkling about their aunt's sexual preference.

Laura definitely secured her spot as the frontrunner for the American girls early on this season on America's Next Top Model: British Invasion.
