Top Chef fans who watched Stefan during season 5 will remember the birthday curse. Whenever a cheftestant was celebrating their birthday, their present was that they were told to pack their knives and go. Who knows WHY it happened but it did and with Stefan's 40th looming, he's understandably a little superstitious.

With nowhere to turn this week on Survivor: Philippines, Abi-Maria continues to keep up the lie that she has the hidden immunity idol. This is the same girl who, just a few weeks back, waved her real idol around at tribal council and now suddenly, won't show it to anyone. I'm not sure anyone believes her but she's sticking to her story. Lisa feels horrible for voting out Penner and much as I want to see her do well, I'm getting sick

With only six acts remaining on The X Factor, they will each be taking on two songs a piece to fill up two hours of the show. Tonight it is all about the Pepsi Challenge performance, which is chosen completely by the fans, and an Unplugged performance, which is stripping the contestants down and just letting them get up there and sing. I am super pumped for the Unplugged songs because that is where we will see who the true singers are.

Top Chef: Seattle lost both a fierce chef and competitor in Carla Pellegrino last week. She tried to let her food do the talking, but she often did her fair share of it, which rubbed some of her fellow contestants the wrong way. In the challenge to recreate the original menu from famed Seattle restaurant Canlis, Carla was stuck with a dish she didn't want, quail, and had to rely on two other chefs to cook it in a very small kitchen space.
