As Hollywood Week continues on American Idol, the guys are
back for their solo auditions, and Ryan warns us to prepare ourselves for some
SHOCKING eliminations, major meltdowns, and some of the most PHENOMENAL
performances we've EVER seen.
Ryan rarely delivers on his promises, but either way, nearly half of the remaining 43 contestants
will be cut.

The Top Chef competition continues on this week in Alaska at Juneau's top culinary destination, Tracy's King Crab Shack. The final four meet up with Padma and James Beard winner Sean Brock, owner of Husk and McGrady's, for their Quickfire. Their challenge was to create an impressive dish, highlighting crab. Josh and Lizzie end up in the bottom, while Brooke and Sheldon end up in Sean's favor, but it's Shelton who reigns supreme.

Who needs rose ceremonies anymore on The Bachelor? Throughout the first night in the mansion this season, Sean handed out roses like candy to any woman who caught his eye, changing the game up, and leaving the women to never know what to expect. That theme has continued throughout the season and when Desiree expressed her nerves over never knowing what's coming next, Sean seemed both confused and annoyed about it. 1890 House - Cortland, New York
Chester F. Wickwire built the white brick castle looking house back in the 1890's and now it's referred to as "The 1890 House" museum. All the members of the family died in the house and their funerals were held in the house, a common practice before the rise of funeral homes. Hollywood Week on American Idol has long been my favorite
part of the Idol preseason. Spirits break, underdogs find a spotlight, and,
mostly, we see how cranky wannabe Idols can be when sleep is stolen from them.
In a twist from previous years, Hollywood week is split this season, with Part
1 featuring the boys' first round.
