It's the second week of blind auditions, and this week's contestants had the unfortunate burden of measuring up to the amazing contestants from last week. They didn't do too shabby, and here are my picks for best performances of the night:

Since last Sunday's episode the Utopians have welcomed a Newtopian, Ernesto. Ernesto hails from Cali and is a licensed contractor/plumber (has already installed Bella's water filter). His back story is that his wife of 17 years died four years ago from a heart attack.. It's pretty clear he's not looking for romance and instead calls his Utopia "a place of peace, prosperity and democracy". We've seen clips and previews of the tornado that is Kendra Wilkinson Baskett's life. All things leading up to the season premiere of the former Playboy playmate's reality, Kendra on Top. But now it seems that Kendra's life is so "on top" after a major cheating scandal involving her husband, Hank Baskett, and a transsexual.

The second installment of Season 7 blind audition began tonight and the coaches are getting pretty comfortable in their chairs. Their pitches are getting old too. Adam and Blake play the newbie card on Gwen and Pharrell. Gwen shamelessly mentions that she' been in a band her whole life, Blake thinks every country artist should fall in his lap, and Pharrell boasts all his number one hits.
