For their 30th wedding anniversary Jim Bob and Michelle are taking out Jill and Derek as well as Jessa and Ben for a triple date. Unbeknownst to the the kids, Jim Bob has a few tricks up his sleeve. Tethered Premier: Two Men One Rope

They are trained to survive the wilderness, but can they survive each other? From the channel that brings you Naked and Afraid, we now have Tethered. Two people are dropped in the middle of nowhere and have to survive in the wilderness for 10 days connected by a 6ft tether. Sticking together to survive is essential, but this is extreme. The rope is locked and won't be unlocked until they are rescued.
The most awkward part is watching the personal interviews with the partner standing only 6 ft away. Picture it,

Tonight the contestants have been asked to relive the most memorable years of their lives. Grab the tissues with your popcorn because it gets emotional. Tonights guest judge is America. Guess the Gone Girl cast wasn't available during their press tour. After the group dance, choreographed by Sharna, the first couple in danger of leaving is announced.

This week's episode was a little sleepy. There were no challenges or temptations and instead focused on a lottery that determined which contestant would go home for a week and take their trainer with them, leaving that team without a trainer for the week. I'm never a fan of random draws like this because it puts potentially really worthy contestants at risk over something as simple as dumb luck or the lack thereof.
