Tonight the contestants have been asked to relive the most memorable years of their lives. Grab the tissues with your popcorn because it gets emotional. Tonights guest judge is America. Guess the Gone Girl cast wasn't available during their press tour. After the group dance, choreographed by Sharna, the first couple in danger of leaving is announced.

Bottom couples are:
Betsey and Tony - The year she had her daughter but ended the relationship with her father and set up her own company - Jive - 29

Michael and Emma - The year he won in Daytona but lost his friend/mentor Dale Earnhardt - Quickstep - 25

Tommy and Peta - The year he went to prison for transporting drug paraphernalia across state lines (either him or his son so he volunteered) - Jive - 28

The couples that are safe tonight (and their stories) are:
Janel and Val - Lost her first vocal coach/mentor BJ to breast cancer - Rumba - 36

Jonathan and Allison - Moved to NYC to be an actor with his parents support. Lost his mom a year ago and lost his father 4 months ago - Samba - 24

Bethany and Derek - The year she started YouTube because she was bullied - Rumba to Colby Callait performing her new song "Try" - 33

Lea and Artem - The year she lost her father to cancer - Contemporary - 39

Antonio and Cheryl - The year he moved to America from Italy struggling to make money got a Janet Jackson music video gig - Samba - 29

Sadie and Mark - The year Duck Dynasty started - Samba - 37

Alfonso and Whitney - The years he spent playing Carlton on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - Jazz - PERFECT 40!

Since Alfonso did The Carlton (and got the only perfect score of the night) I'm pretty sure he'll make it through next week and the week after. That's all fans really want. And he's good. Like, really good... I still have him and Janel toe-to-toe. The other high scores of the evening were based on backstory.

As always, someone has to go. Tonight that couple is ::SPOILER ALERT:: Betsey and Tony. It's not really surprising but Michael's days are numbered unless America votes.
