Last night, on Top Chef: Las Vegas, the chefs competed in a Pigs and Pinot challenge, courtesy of restaurateur Charlie Palmer. Each chef drew a knife to see what part of the pig they would be working with. Ash ended up making a chilled pork tenderloin that did not go over well with the judges. They felt it lacked flavor and when he told them about his original idea for his dish, they couldn’t understand why he continued to second guess himself

This week on The Amazing Race, nine teams traveled to Phnom Penh (“Sean Penn”) Cambodia, where they received their “next assignment” at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club, searched for the Hotel Le Royal where Jackie Kennedy Onassis stayed, chose to match silk scarves in a crowded Russian Market or to sell four helmets to motorcycling families at the Detour, summoned their inner “monkey” at a Roadblock, and then raced to Phil who was waiting at the Mat at Wat Phnom. On last night’s episode of America’s Next Top Model, the girls first competed in a go see challenge then headed to a high flying photo shoot at a martial arts center. The height, the harness, and the weapons they were given to use became overwhelming for some of the models, including Kara. The judges liked her strong face but felt disappointed that she couldn’t deliver a strong photo. She was eliminated from the competition and today, she spoke to RealityWanted in an exclusive

On tonight’s episode of Top Chef: Las Vegas, the contestants meet up with Padma Lakshmi and restaurateur Charlie Palmer in the kitchen. Charlie has worked with Bryan and Michael before but he promises to judge things fairly in tonight’s quickfire challenge. Here’s the challenge: Create a dish based on a snack food, Alexia’s new crunchy snacks to be exact. It doesn’t seem very easy to take a cracker and base an entire dish around it.
Charlie’s least favorite dishes came from Robin, Ash, and Jennifer.

Eh, this week was OK and The Ruins has not lived up to the hour and a half opening night movie-like premiere. After the first episode, I thought we were going to see a fist fight a week or at least some verbal altercations at least once an episode but since the Champs took it easy on Wes this week, there was barely any drama.
