Last night, on American Idol, it was time to find out which of the Top 12 didn't cut it with the viewers and was headed home. In recent weeks, it must have been a bit comforting for the eliminated singers that there were four of them leaving at once. At least they weren't the only ones that didn't deliver that week. Now, if you're the weakest one, it's you and you alone that gets to say goodbye to your time on American Idol.

Tonight on Shear Genius Season 3 we are left with Brig, Jon, Brian, Matthew and Janine. The Short Cut Challenge this week is to do a formal hairstyle for 5 high school seniors that are getting ready for their last formals in high school. The hitch is that all the girls are African American. The guest judge is Kimberly Kimble, celebrity stylist to Beyonce and Mary J Blige.
Jon about has a heart attack, he has done two African American hairstyles in 20 years. Brig feels culturally challenged.
