This week on The Next Iron Chef, only two remain and finally one is named The Next Iron Chef.
Chef Zakarian and Chef Falkner had to create the ultimate holiday meal using standing beef rib roast, salt cod, Brussels sprouts, Clementine, squash, acorns, parsnips, apple cider, and candy canes.
They had to create three holiday dishes in just one hour. Each chef had two sous chefs to help them out.

This week on The Next Iron Chef, the four remaining chefs all met for their challenge in The Hamptons.
They had $500 and two hours to get their ingredients for a 3-course seafood meal. They then had two hours to cook for over 20 people for their Chairman’s Challenge, which was all about Passion.
Chef Falkner won last week so she got a 15 minute head start along with a small boat to help her get around the harbor quicker.

This week on The Next Iron Chef, the chefs took part in a special auction.
Risk was the Chairman’s Challenge this week. There were five different types of food the chefs had to bid on. The food they end up getting is the centerpiece for their dish.
The catch? They weren’t bidding with money. They were bidding with cooking time. Whoever bid that they could cook the food the fastest, won.

This week on The Next Iron Chef, the chefs have relocated to New York.
The Chairman’s Challenge was all about storytelling.
Each chef blindly chose a post card with a picture of a well-known location in New York on the other side.
Chef Burrell got Central Park, Chef Falkner got the Statue of Liberty, Chef Samuelsson got Broadway, Chef Guarnaschelli got the Empire State Building, and Chef Zakarian got Times Square.

This week on The Next Iron Chef, the chefs were treated to an evening of laughs at the Improv Comedy Club in Hollywood, Calif.
The Chairman’s Challenge this week was all about improvisation.
The audience shouted out different ingredients and comedian Kevin Nealon chose from the suggestions. For the protein he chose octopus, for the carb he chose tortilla, for the fruit he chose kumquat, and for the random category he chose marshmallows.
