After three months of dates in Los Angeles, Canada, Spain and Hawaii, Bachelorette Jillian Harris whittled down the group of 30 suitors to just one on Monday night: 29 year-old Ed Swiderski, a technology consultant from Chicago, Illinois. Despite Ed leaving earlier in the season, he came back and captured Jillian’s heart, earning the final rose at the last rose ceremony (and presenting her with a $60,000, 2.05 carat ring!). Arguably a frontrunner since the beginning of the season, 31 year-old Kiptyn Locke, a business developer from Encitas, California was often on the arm of Bachelorette Jillian Harris. Even though Jillian eliminated him before the final rose ceremony on The Bachelorette, 30 year-old Reid Rosenthal, a realtor from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania took his chances and proposed on the season finale. Last night on The Bachelorette, it came down to Ed and Kiptyn, the lovable guy from Chicago who wants to marry Jillian instead of his job, or Kiptyn, the sexy love magnet from San Diego who has never had his heartbroken.
