As a fan of shows like Hell's Kitchen, Top Chef, and other cooking competitions, going to a food and wine festival that features some of the country's best chefs is a dream come true for me. When the Sun Wine Fest at Mohegan Sun Casino, in my home state of Connecticut, came about this month, I jumped at the chance to be able to eat the food that I've seen on tv so many times but never had the opportunity to try.

Last week, rumors surfaced that American Idol judge Simon Cowell would be leaving the show in 2010. Some might feel that Cowell’s exit will be the end of the reality singing competition. However, the show is already set to air through 2011 and a new deal in the works could keep Idol on as long as 2014. FOX has yet to comment on Cowell’s exit. Simon has not released an official statement either but his brother announced this last week during his weekly podcast, The Cowell

Did anyone else think it was weird that, as the finale of So You Think You Can Dance drew near this month, host Cat Deeley did not mention the national tour that the Top 10 dancers would head out on? No alternate dancers were named (in the way that Caitlin Kinney and Phillip Chbeeb were in season 5 immediately following their elimination). No dancers spoke, in their interviews with RealityWanted, of upcoming plans to rehearse for the tour or head

Beginning Monday, December 14, NBC will unveil its holiday special The Sing Off, in which a capella groups will compete for a grand prize of $100,000. Hosted by Nick Lachey, the four night special will culminate with a live grand finale in December 21. Following his sexually charged performance at the American Music Awards last month, ABC tried to keep Idol runner up Adam Lambert off of tv by banning him from several of their shows. FOX, however, welcomed Adam back to their network with open arms and offered him the opportunity to perform on the upcoming season finale of So You Think You Can Dance.
The two night season finale will air Tuesday, December 15, and Wednesday, December 16. The Top 6 dancers will compete on the Tuesday night performance show
