Bravo Media confirmed today that "Vanderpump Rules" stars Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to the show following backlash over incidents of racism.
Last week, former #PumpRules cast member Faith Stowers revealed in her Instagram story that Schroeder and Doute "called the cops and said it was me" for a crime she didn't commit. The incident never really came to light, but in 2018 Schroeder did confirm calling the police on Stowers in an episode of the "Bitch Bible" podcast. Schroeder and Doute both issued apologies to Stowers on Monday.
"Racially insensitive comments from my past have resurfaced. It is important that I continue to take accountability for what I have said and done, while pushing myself to do better," Schroeder wrote on Instagram. "I have grown significantly from the person I was then, and I am still filled with remorse and regret for the hurt I caused."
Bravo did not specify why Boyens and Caprioni were not returning to "Vanderpump Rules" but earlier this year they were both criticized for using racial slurs over tweets that resurfaced. Boyens and Caprioni issued apologies in January when the tweets resurfaced.
Boyens shared a statement on Instagram last week saying, "Never have I ever NOT been prideful of being black. EVER," he continued, "If you're not my friend and in my life, you clearly don't know these things about me and base your judgement off a tv show & off some arrogant disgusting things I said years ago. I wish I never said."
Filming for the next season of "Vanderpump Rules" hasn't been revealed, but the rest of the cast are reportedly shocked after learning the news of firings today.
