"The Bachelor" finale led to a proposal from Ben to Lauren B. and the couple are now happily engaged. It certainly didn't come without any drama, as Ben said the morning of the proposal he was still confused?
Anyway, Reality Wanted caught up with the newly engaged couple, and they're ready to walk down the aisle very soon. "I think we both know that we want to get married and we want to get married soon," Lauren said when asked if they've talked about their wedding plans.
The couple also shared their experience getting casted for the show, when Ben was on Kaitlyn's season.
"It's an interesting process. I think it's one that, you know, is very deliberate and kind of figuring out who the best matches are for the - The Bachelor or Bachelorette," Ben says, "I was signed up through some friends and, you know, there's a couple of phone calls and there are some pictures being send in and there's some interviews."
Lauren says, "So, I was really skeptical until I went in for an interview and then at that point it was so fun," adding, "I interviewed - prior to Ben being chosen as the Bachelor and right as right as Kaitlyn's season was airing... and I had my eye on Ben from the beginning."
"I think the best part of that casting process to me is there's a lot of mind working to make sure it (fits) the best for The Bachelor and Bachelorette," Ben adds.
So for all you hopeful Bachelors and Bachelorettes out there, there's a little bit of advice from the newest engaged couple from the show.
