Based on last week's votes the bottom three were revealed at the end of the show and each one sang for safety. The judges then picked only one to be saved while the other two went home. But not before Demi Lovato performed her song "Confident" with the contestants (who do NOT keep up with her) and then her new song "Stone Cold". Even Harry Connick, Jr. performed for the crowd! Perhaps showing the contestants how to use a stage just by sitting down at a keyboard? Take notes, kids.
While everyone who was announced as safe sang their butt off, three were still left standing to be told they were in the bottom and at risk of going home. They were: Avalon, Olivia and Gianna.
Avalon - Earned It by The Weeknd - Such a match for her personality. She may not like the glitz and glamour but that little bit of lipgloss is making her have a confidence she didn't have before.
Olivia - Trouble by Pink - She may have sang through sickness last week but I don't think she can sing her way out of this dilemma. She sounds good but at this point in the competition you've got to be great. There was no showcasing her voice.
Gianna - If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys - I get trying to make songs "your own" but maybe not Alicia Keys. Also, she seemed pretty nervous. One thumb up for this performance.
The judges can only rescue one and that person was Avalon. Ciao to Olivia and Gianna. Avalon has that little something that people want more of, and Keith, JLo and Harry are no exception to the attraction.
