TLC has pulled all episodes of their hit TV show 19 Kids and Counting amidst the revelation that eldest Duggar child, Josh, had been investigated for molesting five girls, some of which were his sisters. The network has not yet cancelled the show altogether, but rumors are swirling that 19 Kids is doomed. Several advertisers including Jimmy Dean Pure Leaf Iced Tea, Ace Hardware, David's Bridal, ConAgra Foods, Party City, Behr, Walgreens, general Mills, and more recently Hulu have all pulled their ad campaigns from the show. TMZ is reporting that sources close to TLC are saying, "If you're betting, you'd be wise to put money on the show getting cancelled."
Full episodes of the show as well as promotional material are currently still on the TLC website. While the network has yet to announce any official plans, People.com is suggesting that there may be a spinoff in the works. It's no surprise that the shift of audience has been from Jim Bob and Michelle to the elder girls as newlyweds. Jill and Derick Dillard saw huge ratings for their wedding and then the birth of their son, Israel. While Jessa and Ben Seewald have enjoyed a weddings boost, as well, and have already announced the upcoming arrival of their first born. Will we be seeing less 19 Kids and more 2 Newlyweds?
