It's finally Jessa's wedding day and it's just as you'd imagine. Or maybe not. Along with 11 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen, they will have ice cream sundaes and brownies instead of a wedding cake. Instead of a white dress Jessa is donning a beautiful blush colored number. She didn't even avoid Ben seeing her before the wedding (she even does his hair), although she didn't let him see the dress. Ben had his own surprise by keeping her wedding ring a secret until the moment it's on her finger... even though Ben left the rings at home and Jim Bob had to save the day. Speaking of wedding gifts, the entire event couldn't have been near as successful without the hundreds of volunteers offering their services to Jessa and Ben. A few words used to describe the wedding are: big, organized, simple, chaotic, cool, special and beautiful.

Ben's mother organized the small shabby chic rehearsal dinner hosting a measly 200 of their closest friends and family. Although chili 24 hours before your wedding may not be the best idea.

While Jessa seemingly remained calm throughout the process, we watch her walls crumble down when Jim Bob gets emotional. Constantly making jokes about running away, it seems Dad is having a hard time letting go of his second daughter to be married. The only person having a harder time than Jim Bob is Jinger, Jessa's closest sister and best friend.

The biggest gift and surprise Jessa and Ben had for everyone was saving their first kiss for their wedding day. They have made this decision on their own, without it being mentioned in the bible or considered a sin. And although they have received plenty of advice on the best kissing form, they have taken their decision for private intimacy one step further. They don't kiss for the first time in front of 1300 people, they run off to do it in private... to the University of Arkansas Razorback fight song. Mmmm hmmm, you read that right.
