Mario Lavandeira (aka Perez Hilton) is a 36 year old celebrity blogger and single dad from NY. Who knew blogging could land you millions? He thinks dating is exhausting and is asking for Patti's help. Patti met Perez back in his blue hair, overweight days. Perez says he's visually shallow but thinks he has grown enough to deserve love. His celebrity crush is Zac Efron but is more than happy to date an average Joe. His first step is get off Grindr, OkCupid, Tinder, etc., which he is reluctant to do.

Because of his status and negative connotation in the gay community Patti has decided a blind date is the only way to go. They are setting him up with 8's because "8's will be great husbands" for Mario (they're not setting up the Perez personality). Unbeknownst to him he met Greg in Mexico on vacation a few years prior. "What a small gay world!" But before the end of the date the guys discuss wether or not there's a spark and they both agree that friendship is as far as it's going to go. (Perez is back in NY with a new approach and new found confidence. He is following Patti's advice and is much more comfortable getting out into the dating scene.)

Sonja Morgan, 50 from NYC, is known for her participation in The Real Housewives of New York and is a divorced single mom. She is ready to open herself up to love. The turning point in her marriage isn't up for conversation because she wants to protect her 14 year old daughter, but she will say that she only communicates with her ex when it involved their child. She's attracted to someone who can keep her attention regardless of her cougar status.

Patti believes Sonja needs safety and quality. Her plan is to recruit four men for Sonja then Sonja will come in to pick one for the master date. Unfortunately Sonja picks the one man Patti was hoping she wouldn't. Their date is cooking with Rocco DiSpirito. But to flip the table on the date Patti takes the first guy, Tom, out and brings in a different pick, Kent. Patti was right and Sonja ultimately picks Kent. And makes out with him in the roof top hot tub. (Sonja and Kent are in touch via phone and text. Kent is already planning a trip to NYC to see Sonja.)
