They are split up, male vs female, and given their first mission. Each team is to make one savory pie and one sweet pie for Pie Face to raise money for their charities. Whichever pie Buddy, the Cake Boss, likes the best wins. The first project manager for the women's team is Keyshia Knight Pulliam. Her teammates want her to pull the Cosby card, but she has yet to make the call. It seems that the other women may be throwing her under the bus. Buddy thinks the there's too much flavor in the savory and they nailed the sweet.
The first project manager for the men's team is Geraldo, who everyone seems to be behind but it could be because history shows that the first manager to lose is the first contestant to go home. Gilbert may not have baked or called his famous friends for money but he called his carnival friends to make it an "event". Buddy thinks their savory isn't salty enough and their sweet is over baked. But when Bill O'Reilly brings in $10,000 cash, who cares?
$25K from Toshiba goes to the women via The Cake Boss's recommendation for their sweet pie. They raised $68,412 which equals = $93,862 total. The men won this challenge bringing in $185,322. So that means Geraldo raised $279,184 for his charity.
Since the women's team lost, Donald has to fire one. Half of the team seem to think the project manager should be the first to go, but if you ask Brandi then Kate is under the bus. Trump asks Keyshia to pick two women to come back into the board room with her for the firing. She picks Kate (who already looks defeated) and Jamie for not raising any money. ::SPOILER ALERT:: Mr. Trump feels the same as the team, Keyshia is FIRED.
