"Damn!", Chicken Morris a chicken farmer from Marion, VA was the first to be sent home from Survivor China. Last Friday I sat down with Morris and talked about his experience on the show. Morris informed me this was his first time on a plane, on a boat and outside the country.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Thank you for taking the time to chat with us today Chicken. Have you had a busy day so far?

A. Chicken Morris: It's going great! It's been fun and I have been asked some of the stuff.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Did you watch any of the prior seasons of Survivor? If you did was there anything that effected the way you played the game; and what was your favorite past season?

A. Chicken Morris: Yes, I did watch past seasons. My favorite was probably Survivor All Stars. No, I didn't prepare in anyway, my schedule didn't allow time for that,. I only had several days notice to get ready to leave.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: The opening scene showed you all walking into a Buddhist temple. Talk to me about what that was like, it looked amazing.

A. Chicken Morris: That was one of my favorite parts of this experience and I will remember it for the rest of my life. These people welcomed us into their place of worship and showed us their culture. I have never seen anything like that before and doubt that I ever will again..

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: You have never been to a Buddhist Temple or traveled to China?

A. Chicken Morris: None of it. This was an adventure of a lifetime. This was the first time I traveled, flew in a plane and traveled in a boat. There were many firsts for me on Survivor.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: When you were all in the temple, did you notice Leslie walking out, and if so what did you guys think? She said she felt like it was a religious ceremony and didn't seem to be open to a new experience.

A. Chicken Morris: What you didn't see was that both Leslie and John and stepped out of the ceremony. You also didn't see the fact that Jeff asked me what I thought of Leslie and John walking out of the temple. I told Jeff I they shouldn't have done it since it was bad game play and might leave a bad taste in the mouth of other players. However, they had the right to do so. Jeff did explain clearly that this was not a religious ceremony.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Let's talk about the first night. It rained the first night you were all there. Did you get any sleep?

A. Chicken Morris: No, I slept very very little the three days I was there. The nights are brutal. The rain the mosquitoes are relentless at night. The thunder is loud and lightning hits right on the ground.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: You yelled out "Damn" when Jeff tallied the votes. Were you surprised by the outcome?

A. Chicken Morris: I was awfully surprised. Survivor is like a football game in that you want strongest people on your side not the weakest. I voted for Ashley, whether it was just bad luck or not she was our weakest player. To play this game properly you want to keep your strongest players, I don't think my team thought abut tomorrow or next week when they voted me off.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Why dot you think the tribe voted you out and didn't vote off Ashley or PG?

A. Chicken Morris: I have no idea why they vote me off. That's what I like about this game and why everyone loves it. It can change at the drop of a hat. If you're mad at someone on Monday, by Tuesday someone else can do something to put the focus on them.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: You seem to be very opinionated and brought a good deal of know how to the tribe. As viewers we were all waiting for you to give your 2 cents. Why did you hold back? Was it strategy?

A. Chicken Morris: On day one I gave my opinion and no one really seemed to want to listen. They drug some rotted out piece of wood to make shelter with and I tried to tell everyone, but they all stood around and shrugged their shoulders and nothing happened.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What did you learn/walk away with after this experience?

A. Chicken Morris: I walked away having had the greatest adventure of my life probably the greatest adventure for 10 lifetimes. I had my first flight and flew to the other side of the world.

Mark RealityWanted.com: Well thanks for your time Chicken and best of luck with whatever you get your hands into next.
