In true gentlemanly form, Ben asked Jim Bob for his permission to marry Jessa. And in true TLC form, Jim Bob's answer is edited to be long and thoughtful. We've all known for a while that Jim Bob and Michelle love Ben and are excited to have him become part of their family.

With the help of a few of Jessa's sisters, Ben organizes a scavenger hunt for the proposal.

First clue: the restaurant from their first date, Jim Bob asks everyone at the table to hold hands to pray. Naturally Ben grabs Jessa's hand and everyone freaks out because they're not engaged yet.. and poor Michelle is upset with Jim Bob for not seeing the loophole. The (terribly) wrapped present is given to Jessa but she's not allowed to open it until the following morning. In it was an iPad with a video from Ben telling her to head to the hangar where John David keeps his plane... with Jinger as chaperone of course.

Second clue: John David gives her a clue that she is in Eureka Springs, AR (where, unbeknownst to her, her family will be waiting). Joe is there at the airport to drive her to the next location.

Third clue: get a hole in one at putt-putt and she'll get the next clue. Apparently one of their first dates was mini golf. While turning in her club, she is given her next clue.

Fourth clue: get on a trolley. To receive the next clue she must properly identify all monuments displayed inside the trolley correctly. This is in reference to their trip to DC to visit Josh and Anna.

Fifth clue: gather 12 long stem roses scattered around around Basin Spring Park.

Sixth clue: get on the train (and head to the chapel).

Then she is handed a bag of clothes to change into and led to the Thorncrown Chapel in the Ozark Mountains. Keeping it short and simple, Ben gets on one knee and proposes. FRONT HUG!!! I guess that's allowed now that she said yes. And hand holding! Ah the joys of being a Duggar engaged.
