Amy Duggar, Jim Bob's niece and oldest of all the grand kids has a big announcement. The loud, energetic, peppy cousin is rounding up the Duggar clan to share some big news. What could it be? The guesses from the kids are anywhere from "she's having a big party" to "she's going to baby sit for a celebrity". All those hunches are so wrong. The self confident Amy is heading to Nashville (500 miles from family) to pursue her dream of being country music singer.

Jim Bob tries to bring her down to earth to remind her that she is a role model and to stay true to herself and God. Amy's take on God? Not quite what we expect as a Duggar. She believes in dating, not courting, and listens to all genres of music. She considers herself a christian but doesn't believe that God is a shaming or commanding God. It's no wonder Uncle Jim Bob offers a prayer before her departure.

Grandma and Mom go along as this Duggar leaves home, however, she has only saved up enough money to stay there for two weeks. Um... I think it takes more time than that. Not to mention that the tour of the Grand Ole Opry humbles her, singing on the street corner was a completely foreign concept and she was uncomfortable in the studio. Can this Duggar cut it?

You wouldn't think so after tanking her second song during open mic night, in front of a record exec no less, but she cleaned up fast. Everything just might be okay.
