This week the teams are rehabbing two small Spanish style homes into updated homes with entertaining space. Elaine volunteers as site manager for Team Blue, and Erinn is site manager for Team Red, who is down two team members from losing the past two challenges consecutively. Will they lose another this week or can they pull it together enough to get the neighborhood counsel on their side?
Dann impresses with his living room (which is also his first time designing a room by himself), and Jay surprises with his front facade. Yes, the inside of these homes are impressive and in the spanish style motif, but the backyard entertaining areas are absolutely spectacular. The fact that the homes are small makes no matter when the details of these entertainment spaces are revealed, especially for the Red Team. There is no denying that the neighborhood counsel got it right when they announced Team Red as this week's winner. You can see the designs for yourself on their Pinterest.
However, it is apparent that this is becoming the Elaine show. Her condescending verbal abuse to her team members and incredible egotism are taking a toll on her teams mental state. And her desperate ploy to ask the advice of Lukas, from the opposing team, proves that she has no respect for her team members. The question now is if her volunteering as site manager this week, takes her out of the limelight for the upcoming episodes. While watching her easily turn on her Christina's talents in a defensive ploy to save herself during elimination, one can only hope she gets an attitude adjustment sooner rather than later.
SPOILER ALERT
Unfortunately for Christina, her "vanilla" kitchen is enough for the judges to agree with Elaine (despite her terrible leadership skills), Christina is out.
