Last week it was that little thing called my DAY JOB that got in the way of me and LCS, but priorities are priorities so here I am tonight, casting all work aside! And now that So You Think You Can Dance is over, this is the only show for me for the rest of this summer.

We are down to 5 comedians and for the first time voters across the world can cast votes for their favorite comedians to help them win the $250,000 prize.

So the Final Fab 5 come out Gerry, Amy, Lavell, Jon and Ralph. Which obviously means funny and tiny English guy (Matt) has gone home. Debra Digiovanni is in the audience, wearing what I think she's already worn on the show.Bill Bellamy does a set about Bill Clinton always getting into trouble, despite the fact that the country was in tip top shape.

During the break I need to get my eyeglasses the TV in my bedroom seems so tiny compared to the one in the basement! I've been spoiled by HD TV that's for sure.

Lavell "lovable grizzly bear of comedy" is first up. We hear that the performers will just get their mike turned off when their time is up. This should be interesting. I just love Lavell's tone of voice, it's just inherently funny, unlike someone like Amy who initially doesn't come off as funny until she actually starts her set. The audience reception shows he's a clear favorite! His whole set is about working and how he's failed various jobs throughout his life. I can't imagine him as a security guard trying to run after someone with his not exactly small frame you know? (1-866-978-2701 to vote for Lavell).

Jon is next. He's probably my 2nd least favorite, followed by Gerry who's my least favorite. I do love Jon's Hickory accent. Jon's set is about people who are really loud on their cell phones in public and people who have the Bluetooth headset on their ears even when they're not talking. It's pretty funny when he says "Bluetooth, eat a Blackberry!". He switched topics so quickly I missed the connections though. (1-866-978-2702 to vote for Jon).

Now it's Ralph's turn. I just have to wonder about Ralph, if he's been doing stand up for 22 years, and he's really that good, how come he's not famous yet? I guess the comedy industry is THAT hard to get into successfully. Ralph starts out talking about his mom which is typical and even the part about the drunk uncle I think is a topic he's already covered, but he had me cracking up the entire time. Even my husband had to tell me to quiet down cause I was laughing so hard. I need more comedy in my life that's for sure! (1-866-978-2703 to vote for Ralph).

Amy's up now. She goes through the whole dating/dieting thing, I felt bad for poor Amy going right after Ralph cause she just paled in comparison. Don't get me wrong I've always been a huge Amy supporter, but I just wasn't laughing like I was with Ralph and even Jon. So I guess it's true that women comedians have to be twice as funny as men to get half the credit. So if they're half as funny, do they get twice the credit? Maybe Amy should try that approach. Oh wait, she just did. (1-866-978-2704 to vote for Amy).

Our last comedian is Gerry from Canada. I didn't realize he's been through the LCS circuit so many times, I guess this is his third! Canada is a big country to have on your shoulders man. He jokes about wedding gifts. The bit about people not remembering to buy cards until they're on their way to the wedding is soooo true! (1-866-978-2705 to vote for Gerry).

So now the voting lines are open, you can also vote on nbc.com/lcs until Sunday. But I guess we don't find out the results until next week.

I thought that Ralph was the funniest guy tonight, but I almost want to vote for Amy just to keep her in.
