Yolanda, Brandi, and Kim on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are headed to Paris and it took two episodes to cram it all in!

First, Kim invites Kyle over and confesses that she's worried that Taylor is using alcohol to escape. As a recovering addict, Kim is very aware of the signs that there's a problem and feels certain she needs to confront Taylor. Kyle is understandably hesitant about blindsiding her friend, but when the three of them sit down, it actually goes surprisingly well. Taylor acknowledges that she goes a little overboard sometimes and needs to focus more on her family.

Yolanda throws a party and all of the women are in attendance, minus Adrienne, and I'm starting to feel we won't be seeing more of her in future seasons. Make way for Marisa Zanuck! Taylor finds herself at the center of yet another confrontation when Yolanda asks her if she has a problem or has been talking about her. Taylor denies it, and the two trade fake smiles and say they'll sit down and talk things out like civilized adults if an issue ever arises in the future. We'll see.

Since Lisa, Yolanda, and Kyle are already planning on being in France all at the same time, they decide to invite everyone else along too for a fun little trip. Taylor declines, saying that she needs a little family time (and proving she is listening to the Richards sisters). On her way to the airport, Marisa gets terrible news that her father-in-law passed away unexpectedly. At least she was close to home and able to be there for her husband and their family.

In Paris, Kim is missing in action for a while and when she finally meets up with the other women, she's acting quite strange. Lisa says that this is not the Kim she's been seeing for the last few months. Is she relapsing or just jet lagged? Suspicions further arise when she's late for a cooking class with the other women, and can't seem to articulate herself well or recount her day earlier with Lisa. When Lisa expresses concern for her, Kim breaks down in the limo with Kyle. Yes, she's being oversensitive but it's understandable as well that she doesn't want everyone always assuming she's falling off the wagon. Then again, you almost can't blame Lisa and the others based on how she was acting...

Well who knew? The housewives can cook! We've all seen Yolanda in the kitchen a la Martha Stewart but the others seem like they don't know the difference between a spatula and a saucepan. Despite some amusing moments during the class, things turn serious over dinner when Lisa relays the situation with Kim to Mauricio, which some of the others don't appreciate. We can never go too long without upping the drama factor and rehashing things that already happened.

The women should take a lesson from Mauricio and Ken, who are able to disagree about things, then put it aside and remain close friends. While they take a segway tour of Paris, then women visit the Eiffel Tower where it's time for some more rehashing.  Kyle pulls Lisa aside to say that she still feels there are issues between them, but Lisa thought that was all in the past.  Kyle feels that Lisa defends Brandi, but doesn't have her back.  On the other side of the observation deck, can we just call attention to the friendship that seems to be forming between Brandi and Kim?  Who would've thought?
