The Biggest Loser 13

When Alison shows up at The Biggest Loser house unexpectedly, it usually doesn't mean something good for the contestants. She's brought a temptation challenge along with her - definitely not something good. In front of the contestants is a rotating table full of their favorite foods. Peanut butter cups, Mexican food, pizza, pasta, and venison?! The winner of this challenge can rearrange the teams however they want, and they can do so anonymously.

Sure, some people pick up some food here or there but Daphne houses nine plates of peanut butter cups, for a total of 1890 calories consumed! She makes one decision - to move Jeremy to the red team and Conda to the black team. As everyone asks "What's the strategy here?", I can't help but wonder the same thing! Immediately, fingers point to Daphne and why wouldn't it? It couldn't possibly look more personal.

In the gym, Conda cries to Dolvett that the only reason she made it this far is because of him. Wow, a nicer side to her! Jeremy lacks energy and motivation, feeling like he got the short end of the stick. The trainers definitely have their work cut out for them with this brother/sister duo, never mind the fact that the rest of the players are feeling stressed out and tense. I thought this was a season of No Excuses. It's amazing how one seemingly small move can derail so many people.

In this week's challenge, teams have to move very large puzzle pieces to form The Biggest Loser logo with the help of a caller. The callers end up being Mark and Chism, father vs. son. Chism seemed to be strong at puzzles, based on the first episode, but he falls apart here. His black team wasn't even close when the red team completed the puzzle. Each red team member wins two weeks at The Biggest Loser ranch, which is a huge plus to help maintain success after the competition is over.

Bob finally convinces Daphne to come clean about the temptation challenge, which she does but she doesn't seem all that remorseful. Just like Adrian shot himself in the foot by running his mouth a few weeks, so does his sister for being unable to separate personal feelings from the game.

As a result, the black team has a plan and that plan is to lose the weigh-in. However, while they stuff their faces with carbs, Daphne spends every waking moment working out so this doesn't seem very well thought out.

Here are the numbers from the scale:

Red Team
Jeremy: -11 (because changing up your workout works)
Kim: -7
Mark: -8
Kimmy: -5
Buddy: -12
TOTAL: -43 (3.39%)

Black Team
Chris: -5
Megan: -2
Chism: -5
Cassandra: -1
Emily: -2
Conda: +1
Daphne: +2
TOTAL: -12 (0.75%)

As each black team member steps on the scale, it's no surprise that things start to boil over to the surface. Before you know it, people are yelling and crying, while Dolvett and Bob try calm everyone down. Dolvett calls everyone's behavior "childish", while Bob says they're just being "real". Well, I guess they're both right.

The big surprise of the night is that Daphne puts up a +2 on the scale.  What is that about?  It's an easy decision to vote her out, given everything that's gone on since she first came back onto the ranch.  She doesn't leave, though, before one final blowup in the elimination room.  Here's hoping this is the end of the drama this season, once and for all.

Daphne knew the writing was on the wall and she wasn't going to make it to the end but before she left, she made sure to try to take Conda and Jeremy with her.  Will she be successful?
