"Christmas Spirit"
Sun Inn - Bethlehem, PA
The Sun Inn was built in 1758 and its most famous guests include John Adams and George Washington. The Inn's most recent guest is said to be the ghost of a little girl named Sarah who died while living at the hotel. She's said to tug on people's clothes and hair and move toys around in the attic. Some believe they hear her singing or begging them not to leave.
TAPS co-founders Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson headed right to the attic, which is said to be the most active part of the house. A strange heat signature on a chair that kept getting more intense, grabbed their attention. Not long after this episode, a small human shaped figure crossed the path of their video recorder. It's hard to believe it was Sarah paying them a visit. They went downstairs to the main floor but footsteps coming from the next floor up could not be dismissed. The footsteps were followed by the voice of a little girl possibly singing a song. When the two of them headed upstairs they believed they heard someone say "Hello" on two different occasions. They were also hearing faint conversations.
Adam Berry and Amy Bruni headed to the basement. As they were conducting an EVP session they heard a girl, or women's voice, say "Help!" Amy then heard a girl's voice say "Hello." Someone was obviously trying to make contact with the entire team.
Hanoverville Roadhouse - Bethlehem, PA
The Hanoverville Roadhouse was built in 1825 and has served as a farm house, general store, hotel, and hunting lodge. The Roadhouse now serves as a restaurant/bar and apparently the permanent home of the ghost of a young boy. People who have seen the boy say that he looks very sad, often standing with his head down. He's said to tap people on their leg or arms and come visit the owner, who lives in the building, at night.
Jason, Grant, and Mattie the ghost hunting dog started their investigation on the main floor of the building. Grant heard some sounds coming from the kitchen while Jason heard something like a young child's whimper. This whimper was audible to the viewers. Footsteps were the next to be heard.
Dave Tango and Steve Gonsalves strangely got assigned to investigate the bar area. Have you ever played the "hear a noise, take a drink" game while ghost hunting? They measured some high EMF readings due to a refrigeration unit on the other side of the bar and hypothesized that maybe these high EMF waves are playing tricks on people's minds who report strange occurrences around the bar area. That being said, the EMF readings could not explain the various noises they were hearing.
Amy and Adam headed to the owners apartment bedroom to see if the boy would pay them a visit. They would be spending the night in the apartment. During the night their audio recorder picked up footsteps that seemed to be coming from the upstairs attic.
TAPS felt that the ghost boy at the Roadhouse may very well be a residual haunting since they could not make contact with him during their investigation and the boy tends not to act or give attention to visitors. The little girl from the Sun Inn though may be haunting the living but having a good time doing so.
