This week on Dancing With the Stars, it is a Halloween special event!
Each couple had to perform two dances: an individual and a group dance.
David and Kym performed first dancing the Cha Cha Cha to Abracadabra. Len said he turned himself into a dancer. Bruno said he is a natural at turning magic tricks. Carrie Ann said his improvement is phenomenal.
Score: 8+8+8=24.
J.R. and Karina were up next dancing the Tango to Ghostbusters. Bruno said it was another very solid performance, but thought he lost his timing a few times. Carrie Ann said there was a tiny slip where they got out of sync, but still said it was precise and sharp. Len said it was substandard to what he expects of J.R.
Score: 9+8+8=25.
Nancy and Tristan danced the Jive to The Devil Went Down to Georgia. Carrie Ann said this week was not so good for her. Len added that it wasn’t a good dance for her. Bruno said that the spirit as right but thought the footwork was devilish.
Score: 7+7+7=21.
Rob and Cheryl paired the Adams Family theme song with their Tango. Len thought he did a terrific job. Bruno said he has never been so manly and in control. Carrie Ann said it was his best dance so far.
Score: 9+8+8=25.
Ricki found out she has an inflamed nerve, but she chose to dance through the pain performing the Paso Doble with her partner Derek to the song Beautiful Nightmare. Bruno said it was a blizzard of passion and fear and thought it was another incredible performance. Carrie Ann said her shaping is gorgeous. Len also said her shapes are fantastic.
Score: 9+9+9=27.
Hope and Maks danced the Samba to Werewolves of London. Carrie Ann said it was fun to watch. Len thought she coped well with a difficult dance. Bruno said she should be proud.
Score: 8+8+8=24.
After all of the individual dances were finished, it was time for the couples to get into their teams for the team performances.
Team Tango was up first. The team consisted of J.R. and Karina, David and Kym, and Nancy and Tristan. Len said the group part was excellent, but thought the individuals were a disaster. Bruno agreed with Len and said that everybody had a mistake in their individual sections. Carrie Ann said it started out well, but thought it fell apart at the duets.
Score: 8+7+8=23.
Team Paso Doble followed. Their team consisted of Ricki and Derek, Hope and Maks, and Rob and Cheryl. Bruno said it was powerful, moving and dramatic. Carrie Ann thought it was amazing. Len said their individual sections were fantastic.
Score: 9+8+9=26.
