"Urgent"

This episode picks up where a "special episode" in June left off.  The show tried to add a little drama by having TAPS co-founders Grant Wilson and Jason Hawes rush back to the east coast immediately to address a haunting that involved a 4 year old child....as if this were the only haunting in the world involving a child.  It plays out cheesy but it's probably more interesting then the truth and they didn't want to cut short the revealing of the evidence from the special episode involving the Pearl Harbor investigation.  Now that were all done rolling our eyes, we finally get to see what evidence the team caught from the haunted waters of Pearl Harbor.  If you need some background info on the special June episode, it's provided in this link. The team caught a few one word EVPs but two other EVPs were maybe the longest sentences I've ever heard that came from Hanger 79.  Something said "Let's get these doors open" and this was followed by what sounded like heavy doors, possibly hanger doors, being opened.  The second one is somebody saying "Hey! Come weld this wing!"  It's very possible that these are residual hauntings.  The team also caught a very interesting video of some kind of mass appearing, lighting up, and then disappearing just as fast as it came in.   Jason and Grant did conclude that there was paranormal activity going on in the Pearl Harbor museum.

The Reid House - Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Whatever is plaguing the Reid house would have sent the rest of us running out of the state.  Yes, there is a 4 year old girl who routinely see's dead people, but the rest of the family, including a former resident, also have experienced many paranormal activities while in the house.  Members of the family have been attacked in their sleep and awakened to pounding coming from the attic in the middle of the night.  Black shadow masses, old men, a woman in white dressed in 1920's attire, flickering lights, and a black cat are all items that this family claims to have seen.  For one reason or another, the 4 year old girl seems to be the most aware of the paranormal occurrences.  What dark history does this house possibly hold?

K.J. McCormick and Steve Gonsalves were the first to enter the house and they immediately began to try and communicate with the "White Lady."  They focused on the stairs that go upstairs to the bedrooms, an area that seems to be a hot spot.  One of the devices they set on the stairs, the geophone, started to light up as they began their questions.  It soon died out so they headed upstairs to investigate and did get some strange EMF readings that tended to fluctuate.  Generally a fluctuation that is as rampant as they were experiencing is more than just a case of bad electrical wiring.  It was almost as if something was playing with them.

Jason and Grant were next to enter the house and they headed to the "bad living" room where the family experiences a lot of activity.  They noticed their K2 meter was lighting up pretty strong and you had to wonder if old wiring in the house was causing a high magnetic activity.  The K2 meter though did tend to light up brighter as they started asking questions.  This was followed by what sounded like someone having a conversation in the next room over.  Nobody was around and the conversations were faint, but continued.  They decided to head upstairs to the bedroom, where all great hauntings occur, which then lead them to the attic to check on the electrical wiring.  It turns out that one of the bedrooms is below three electrical fixtures in the attic which were producing high EMF readings, which we all know by now, can really cause people to feel a bit strange and uneasy.   They headed downstairs and found that a lot of the areas upstairs where people felt the most uneasy had the highest amount of EMF readings and this was all because the copper water lines were being used as groundings for the electrical wires which does not seem like a smart setup.

In addition to the personal activities, the team did catch an EVP which sounded like a girl laughing but they spent the most time telling the Reid's about the high EMF readings throughout the house.  This high EMF could be used as fuel for the paranormal activity and may be helping these ghosts appear to the family, especially the young girl. Jason and Grant felt that a good electrician might be able to fix this problem and possibly put a stop to the hauntings.
