This week was the finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which all seemed to unfold and go sideways after a great season!

Camille is reeling from the news that Kelsey wanted a divorce, and attends the Tony’s with him just to save face. It is an awkward trip with a lot of uncomfortable comments. She is distraught and believes there is another woman involved, because at this point, she doesn’t know.

 

Lisa and Ken are really putting their foot down about Cedric (this century’s Kato Kaelin) leaving their home. Lisa also wants to get to the bottom of what happened between Camille and Taylor in New York before Camille and Kyle got into their huge fight.  Taylor seems to think the entire thing stemmed in the airport with Kim. Lisa makes it clear that she thinks that Taylor should squash the argument and make it right with Kim. 

Taylor is having a birthday and Russell is throwing a party for her that will also be the finale for the show.  A little while back, Russell had bought a puppy for their daughter Kennedy, so in this episode, Taylor is “re-homing” the puppy, since her daughter is “allergic” to it. 

Kim is getting ready for the party by taking make up lessons, because, she says she doesn’t really know how to put makeup on. While Kyle and her other sister, Kathy, had childhoods, Kim was working as a child actor which bought their house and paid their bills…

 

The party seems more like a giant television shoot, with mostly agents and managers looking on as the scene unfolds between all of the girls. Camille cannot make it, seeing as how she is dealing with her marriage falling apart. When Kim shows up to the party, Kyle tells Lisa that she thinks she is drunk.

 

A little later, Taylor goes to Kim and wants to talk about the airport conversation, but once things get heated about what was said (Taylor says that Kim was baiting her, Kim says that Taylor is the one that said Camille feels insignificant in her marriage) Kyle decides to jump in, then Lisa comes over.

 

Kim, who hates confrontation, seems to get really overwhelmed with the entire confrontation, and is really upset. Kyle, who seems to domineer over her sister, becomes upset about Kim not standing up for her. Hello, Kyle, have you met Kim? This girl would run away from a mirror if she thought she was confronting herself! At that point, Adrienne comes into the conversation, and tries to help out. It truly becomes a huge scene that everyone was watching and finally Kim leaves the party. KYle seems to think that Kim attacked Taylor! Not quite...

 

Down at the limo’s Martin, a friend of Lisa’s and Kim’s, tries to soothe Kim, who is upset in her car. Adrienne comes down next to calm her, but then Kyle shows up and they start arguing again. It gets so ugly that it isn’t about the Camille/Kyle argument anymore, but about Kim never standing up for Kyle and Kyle always worrying and helping Kim. Kim says that Kyle stole her house; Kyle calls Kim an alcoholic and says that her husband treats Kim like a second wife and takes care of her and that their mom died worrying about Kim…and then storms off. 

 

And so ends The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills first season.
