Celebrity Rehab Season 4

"Delusions of Celebrity Status"

The residents of Celebrity Rehab, now sober on day four, continue to explore their issues while Dr. Drew's crisp collared shirts affirm them.

Not Without MyClothes: Frankie Lons (that's Keisha Cole's mother to those of you at home) is upset because she just realized that there are surveillance cameras in her room and a control room that views all the rooms, even when she is taking her clothes off. The big question is, why would someone leave this room open for the patients to find? Remember, first and foremost, this is a reality show, so anything that creates drama will come before the recovery. Frankie threatens to leave and Dr. Drew insists that she is just finding an excuse to use. Frankie is more upset that someone saw her without her wig. Shelly condescendingly tries to talk to her, but it takes another Resident Tech, Shirley, to calm her down. Crisis averted, for now.

Jeremy and the Big Incident: Last week, Jeremy London told the gang about his strange abduction and his abductors forcing him to do drugs. Despite the perceived "media frenzy" no one believed him. In the morning's group meeting, he reveals that his wife was addicted to Ambien and flipped over their car with their son inside. They both survived, but it haunts him. We now learn that one week before the show started, he and his wife called the show to ask for an intervention. Well, how lucky that the producers JUST HAPPEN to have full footage of that? Counselor Bob went out to see them and Melissa (Jeremy's wife) is scared to enter treatment but Bob assures them she is doing the right thing.

Melissa has been in a separate wing of treatment until now, and back in present time, she and Jeremy now sit down with the Doc for some good old fashioned "talking it out" There is immense tension between them and they can't seem to agree as to whom filed for divorce first. In the last straw, Melissa doubted Jeremy's claim that he went to Miami to direct a movie, and Jeremy ends in tears.

You're Fired!: On a bowling outing, Rachel Uchitel receives a call from her publicist who urges her to leave the show because the tabloids are "exploding"with this news. Don't flatter yourself honey. Also, Rachel was set to appear on Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice (again, the word Celebrity must be used loosely) and now Donald won't let her on if she remains on this show. Rachel drags Dr. Drew away from the gang and has him talk to the publicist. Rachel seems to be agonizing over this decision-- apparently she is pissed that she can't be on TWO reality shows. She tells the group that the tabloids are "lynching"her over coming to rehab. Firstly, no. Secondly, get over yourself. The time that Rachel takes to agonize over this and the matter in which she dragged Dr. Drew away from everyone to focus on her makes me think she has an attention addiction as well as a love addiction.

Jason's Pampered Life: Rachel and Jason (Wahler) stage a friendly intervention for Jason Davis, imploring him to eat right, shower, and to start doing things for himself and to not rely on "servants" Jason opens up to Dr. Drew and tells him that money has only brought bad things to his life, and he is embarrassed and ashamed that he can't do things for himself, like do his laundry and take care of himself. He tearfully admits that he doesn't even know how to make people like him, hence the way he acts out. In this one moment, I feel bad for him. Dr. Drew directs him to clean his room and he will check it later.

But I'm a Musician!: On an outing to Huntingon Beach, the group seems to be having fun, but Leif starts flipping out and says he can't take it. And by "it"he means the constant annoying behavior of the others. Cut to several scenes of Frankie screeching and carrying on. He tells Dr. Drew that the annoying behavior of the others is driving him to use. You and me both, Leif. He runs away to the car and Dr. Drew follows.Leif claims he just wants to listen to music. "I;m a musician! I can't live without music!" Dr. Drew finally leaves him alone and leaves Leif in the car, looking miserable.

On the way back from the beach, Leif tells Jeremy he is leaving. Jeremy asks why, and Leif only needs to glance at the back of the van, where Frankie and Jason are screeching and singing. Back at the center, Rachel and Jason convince Leif not to leave. Jason even apologizes for being so immature and annoying. Good thing we got that apology on tape. Leif agrees to stay through the night.
