Last night on the Biggest Loser, it was the final episode before the live finale--the last chance for the contestants to show America what they've got and for two of the final four to earn their way into the finale.
Before they had their final non-live weigh in, the contestants packed up and headed home to show their relatives their tremendous progress. Before they head out, Ali gives them each a DVD to watch at home when they're with all their fans and family.
It turns out that the DVD is a flashback reel of their experience on the ranch, so their families can see the highs and the lows that they had. The most emotional reaction was Ada's parents when they saw her after they failed to send her a video. It turns out that it wasn't their intention, but rather a cultural mixup, because it's clear that they love her very much and didn't want to see her hurt.
As per tradition, while the contestants are home, they're given the task to run the Biggest Loser marathon. Frado's goal is to run the whole thing, while Ada wants to beat Tara's record time from a couple seasons ago.
While the contestants are training for their long, long race, Jillian and Bob drop in for some last-minute tips. Bob helps out the guys while Jillian works with the girls so that they can run their best marathon possible at the end of their homestay.
Shockingly, while the show was filming, Elizabeth moved to a different city and with her boyfriend, who is a big fan of processed food. Jillian comes down hard on Elizabeth for not being independent, but Elizabeth seems to reject the advice, instead looking on how to deflect Jillian.
On marathon day, Ada is ready to go, thanks to Jillian's help. Frado and Patrick run together while Elizabeth jogs behind them. Ada has to use a port-o-potty on the way to finishing, but she still beats Tara's time. Frado and Patrick finish together, then Elizabeth, but the bottom line is that they all finished--and get to donate $10,000 to the charity of their choice.
Finally, it was time for the weigh-in:
Patrick: -35 (-12.54%)
Frado: -27 (-10.89%)
Elizabeth: -15 (-7.81%)
Ada: -12 (-6.70%)
So, with that, Frado and Patrick solidified their spots in the finale. Now, it all comes down to America's vote between Ada and Elizabeth for the third spot on stage at next week's live season finale.
