"Sloss Furnaces"

Meatloaf joins the TAPS team for a two night investigation and in no way is this a fair trade for Kris Williams who is adding some eye candy to the Ghost Hunters International team.  While were on the topic of "guest" investigators...feel free to skip the next show as the "Housewives" of some city join TAPS to I guess, test their sanity.

Once one of the most successful factories in the nation employing hundreds, the Sloss Furnaces are rusted out and certainly not functional like they were in 1881 when the factory opened.  The site serves as a museum now and the caretakers and visitors have had multiple paranormal experiences.  Many workers died due to accidents in the factory and their spirits have not left.  People hear strange noises and sounds of others talking when no one else is around.  Many people have been pushed and others have seen ghostly apparitions.

Night 1:

TAPS co-founders Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson were the first to investigate the main floor of the factory, joined by Meatloaf.  Two out of three paranormal investigators ain't bad.  After they heard something walk along the cross walk they asked "Do you work here?"  They believed they heard some type of reply and asked again and not long after a shadowy figure caught their attention going by the window but no one was around.  Grant felt it was the "clearest apparition he's seen in a long, long, time."  Their next stop was an area called "the tunnels", where multiple apparitions have been seen.  As Meatloaf was asking questions, the team was getting responses on the K2 meter.  A name "Paul" screamed out to them.  They all heard it and Meatloaf then mentioned he had heard it before but didn't want to admit it.  If Meatloaf wants to come back for a third show, he's going to have to be honest about his experiences.

Amy Bruni and, newbie investigator, Adam Berry headed to the basement after they kept hearing something talking and making noises.  They were very uncomfortable in the basement with Amy mentioning many times that it smelled like moth balls, something that would also be mentioned by other team members.  It's becoming very clear that Adam Berry is going to be a strong asset to TAPS.   He's bold and carries himself well as an investigator, making some of the other team members look like they need to step it up a notch

Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango spent their time investigating the outside area of the factory where many bad accidents have happened and many apparitions have been reported.  More than a few times Steve was hearing some shuffling around them and then he believed he saw something come towards them then disappear.  The same episode then happened again.

Night 2:

Steve, Dave, and Meat' headed down to the basement and then to the tunnels.  As Meatloaf was asking questions, the K2 started going off in response to his questions.  "He asked is Paul your name?"  The K2 meter went off and continued to go off as the questioning continued.

Jason and Grant headed back down to the tunnels and something pushed Grant pretty forcefully, which fully backs up the experience of others.  Another strange occurrence happened when Jason thought he was responding to one of Grants questions....a question that he did not ask.  Jason thought Grant told him to "look."  He responded by saying "At what?"  They left the area puzzled.

Meatloaf, Jason, and Steve headed to the engine room where workers had been sucked into the machines and grinded up.  My guess is that they were turned into "Soylent Green."  Although they heard a few noises and were able to track one of the noises to a hanging chain, nothing else really caught their attention or gave a response to their questioning.

Amy and Adam were the next to investigate the tunnels with Meatloaf who seems to be attracting paranormal activity.   The K2 meter was again in full effect.  Meatloaf again asked "is your name Paul" and the meter lit up.  As they continued to ask questions, they noticed a figure standing at the end of the tunnel.  It started to approach them and then backed away with the whole episode lasting a good minute.

The team did get a few pieces of evidence to add to their personal experiences.  They caught the "voices" that Grant was hearing in the tunnels but what the voices were saying was too hard to decipher.  A video camera caught a very clear shadow that the team did not see as they were investigating.  Overall, TAPS was impressed with the Sloss furnaces and mentioned it was one of the most active places they investigated in a while.
