The Biggest Loser 10: Episode 9 Recap

This week on The Biggest Loser, it's a whole new age for the contestants. Like Ali tells the contestants, they're now competing on their own. It's individual from here on out and everyone is responsible for their own weight loss, or lack thereof.

Before anyone got down to the nitty gritty competition, everyone got to see videos from home--except for Ada, who got to see just how cruddy her support system was at home. While the tears flowed, she tried to stay strong for herself, while the other contestants thought it wasn't right. So what'd they do? They made their own video for Ada to show that she's part of their family now!

The challenge this week took place in a pool and immediately Lisa thinks she's won because she says swimming is her strong suit. However, it's not a swimming challenge, it's a balancing challenge. The winner earns one pound more at the weigh-in.

Frado, who's currently in first place overall, got to pick who goes first, so he picks Jessica. Jessica passes the first test, so she picks Brendan, who falls. Frado is up next, who two-foots it. Patrick passes, and Elizabeth fails miserably. Ada was next, who put up Patrick again, who fell.

Ada targets Jessica next, who gets eliminated. Mark passes his first time, then Lisa passes. It goes back and forth between Mark and Lisa until Lisa falls. Mark challenges Ada who falls, giving Mark the win and the one-pound advantage.

After the real challenge was a little bonus--who could make the healthiest, tastiest sandwich? Of course, we can't taste it, so we have to trust the judges, who gave it to Lisa. She won the title of best sandwich maker and a $500 Subway gift card. Then it was time to weigh-in:

Ada: -8 (-4.04%)
Frado: -9 (-3.26%)
Patrick: -10 (-3.22%)
Brendan: -8 (-2.86%)
Lisa: -6 (-2.56%)
Mark: -8 (-2.39%)
Elizabeth: -4 (-1.95%)
Jessica: -1 (-0.44%)

It's the moment we all knew was coming: Elizabeth vs. Jessica, the two arguably weakest players all season are finally faced with the fact that one of them must go home. Elizabeth, however, is the fourth arm of the ruling trio, so they tell her she'll be safe, even though she's been up for elimination almost every week.

It doesn't matter for her, though, because they keep their word and Jessica goes home unanimously. Since being home, however, Jessica has completely changed the way she looks and the way she carries herself. After a makeover, she looks like a completely new person!

The Biggest Loser airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
