Last night on Solitary 4.0 we began with episode four with #8, the artist gone, and four guests in physical pain as they continued to do the "strike a pose" treatment. The guests played twister while focusing a green laser within an octagon.

The six remaining guests were:

Pod 2: Rommel Gargoles, Martial Arts Instructor
Pod 3: Kelsey "Kelso" Thorn, Student

Pod 5: Todd Ranck, Professional Game Show Contestant (didn't have to compete in this treatment. He earned freedom by being the only guest to complete Val's typing test challenge that had keys with the wrong letters).
Pod 6: Tyler Tongate, Solitary Veteran from Season Two

Pod 7: Bea Henington, High School Teacher
Pod 9: Liberty Freeman, Children's Party Entertainer

More than 32 rounds and one elimination later, the remaining guests endured unnecessary physical pain. Their neck, back, shoulders, and every part of their bodies ached. During a penalty round, #7 was concerned that if she had to do ANOTHER one, she'd have permanent neck damage. So, she quit. Well, she stopped at the right time. She got to stay in Solitary for a little bit longer along with the other guests.

Next, Val treated her guests to a steak dinner, but they had to cook it themselves. The guest who cooked and ate all of the steak first was rewarded with sleep. #5 won Val's test and he got some much needed rest.

But, the extra z's didn't give the professional game show contestant a competitive edge to win Val's challenge to earn freedom from the next treatment. The guests had to use "val hands," "cones," and "horse grooming gloves" to open bottles that contained beach balls. The Solitarians then had to stack the beach balls where they stood on their own and touched a green rope. 3 hours and 40 minutes later, #6, the Solitary veteran, won the challenge.

In a tearful vent, Tyler said he wants to win Solitary because he's tired of getting by. He's working two jobs and he's about to get married. He wants to win Solitary for the money, of course, but also to prove to himself that he's a winner.

Tyler missed out on the "monkey around" treatment. The guests had to wear a guerilla suit and do calisthenics. On top of that, Val had them eat bananas in between multiple rounds. If they threw up, they had to leave Solitary.

More than 23 rounds later, #5 said "he did the best he could." He didn't want to throw up. His strategy failed him as he was the first to hit the red button.

In episode five, it looks like the next treatment has to do with the guests sitting and spinning around. I worry for #3 as she has complained about feeling dizzy and throwing up on several occasions. I think #6 will do well as he experienced a similar treatment in season two, which gives him an advantage over the other contestants.
