On this weeks episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dina, Teresa and Caroline are planning on a weekend away in Atlantic City to get away from the drama of Danielle for awhile.

Dina is missing Lexi, who is still in Cypress. Teresa is struggling with leaving her three girls at home for the weekend because she never leaves them. Caroline even has a tough time leaving her grown children at home.  Jacqueline decides to stay home with her immediate family to avoid the tension that she is feeling between her sister-in-law’s and Danielle.

Dina, Caroline and Teresa stay at The Water Club in Atlantic City. While there, they go jewelry shopping and then head to a lingerie shop. Teresa has decided that she wants to get breast augmentation and is trying on the lingerie, looking forward to having a fuller chest to fit into clothes better.

Dinner is at Izakaya at The Borgata. Dina mentions that she is considering leaving her job to spend more time with her daughter and husband. She feels that she is missing precious time with them and what she once wanted in a successful career does not seem that important any longer. She misses hanging out with her family and friends.

While the girls are lying out at the hotel pool, Steve; Danielle’s boyfriend and Joe’s friend, calls Teresa to ask permission to use her shore house for a weekend away with another woman. Teresa asks Steve if he is still seeing Danielle and he replies that he is, but it’s casual. All three of the women are annoyed that even in Atlantic City, Danielle is coming into their lives to create drama in someway.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline is at home. Her daughter, Ashley, is in summer school. Ashley is doing well in school, and she wants her mother to reward her with a car if she passes her classes. One can’t help but recall that these are two classes that she has previously failed, and is making up for during the summer. Little does Ashley know, Jacqueline and Chris already have a car for her, but they are not ready to give it to her until she proves she is maturing.

It is Danielle’s birthday and her two daughters have bought her gifts. Danielle sometimes feels that her daughters are the only people she has in her life and she is lonely. Especially now, because Jacqueline has been distancing herself from Danielle since the fiasco with the Cop Without A Badge book that exposed Danielle on Episode 4. Things aren’t going well with Steve. Danielle invites him to lunch to let him know that she cares for him, he has been good to her, but he isn’t the one that she is going to end up with, so they should break it off. Steve seems very uncomfortable with the conversation and it becomes apparent that the relationship was not as serious in his eyes. He actually tells her that he would be “thrilled” if she met the man of her dreams and married him.

Jacqueline schedules a photo shoot with her daughter Ashley in an attempt to boost Ashley’s self esteem. Jacqueline is present for the entire photo shoot, trying to get Ashley to loosen up in front of the camera. (C’mon Jacqueline, get out of there so your daughter can get out of her shell a little!) Ashley gets upset that her mother is criticizing her, doesn’t like the photos and insults the photographer. Jacqueline again questions whether Ashley is really ready for a car.

Once Dina returns from Atlantic City, Lexi comes home. Dina is thrilled, as is Lexi, who felt two weeks was too long away from home.

Teresa invites Dina, Caroline, and Jacqueline to join her for her plastic surgery consultation. She decides on a full B silicone implant. She talks it over with her husband Joe, who says that sometimes he gets upset at all the money Teresa spends, but then he looks at her, and he looks at what good care she takes of his three daughters and figures “Happy Wife, Happy Life!” He also throws in a “forgettaboutit!” Joe goes with Teresa the day of the surgery, and talks her into getting a full C. He figures if she is going to go to all the trouble of the surgery, why not get them a little bigger? (You gotta love Joe!)

Finally, Jacqueline and Danielle reunite for a birthday lunch for Danielle. They have not seen each other since their last discussion of the “book”. Jacqueline asks Danielle to respect the fact that Dina is her sister-in-law. Danielle agrees to try to keep the peace when she is with Jacqueline and respect that these are her sister-in-laws.
