Hollywood Radio and Television Society's Reality Luncheon with Tyra Banks, Mark Burnett, Jeff Probst, Allison Grodner, Michael Davies, Mike Fleiss, Arthur Smith

Recently, RealityWanted was fortunate enough to attend Hollywood Radio and Television Society's "Broadcasting Reality: Show Me the Money!" Newsmaker Luncheon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. Besides enjoying a great meal, RealityWanted had the opportunity to rub elbows with reality superstars such as Tyra Banks, Paris Hilton, Mark Burnett, and Jeff Probst. We sent former reality star Jenn Hoffman (NBC’s The Apprentice) to get some inside tips for our members on getting onto their favorite reality shows.

First up, Jenn spoke to Big Brother casting director Allison Grodner, who told the site that they’re always looking for extroverts who are ready to play the game. Michael Davies, the executive producer of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, said that he’s looking for someone who will do something with the prize money. Mark Burnett told RealityWanted that he doesn’t want people who just want to be on TV - he wants people who want the experience of what a show like Survivor or The Apprentice provides.

For those looking for love (and a spot on a reality show), look no further than The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. Executive Producer Mike Fleiss said he’s looking for outgoing, attractive, disease free people.
For the wackier reality fans, Arthur Smith, Executive Producer of I Survived A Japanese Game Show, keeps his eyes out for adventurous people who are ready for anything!

To see all of the interviews, in their entirety, plus advice from Top Model’s CariDee English and Survivor’s Jeff Probst, check out:
