Well, we all knew that it wasn't going to take very long before some of the housemates on The Real World: Brooklyn started developing feelings for one another.  In fact, Sarah and JD seemed be the only two who kept their hormones in check on this week's episode.  There's been some chemistry brewing - first between Baya and Ryan and then between Devyn and Scott.  More on that in a minute.  It was tough not to feel bad for Katelynn, whose boyfriend back home, Mike, seems completely uninterested in her or anything that is happening in her life since she left for The Real World.  The girls tell her that she deserves a lot more, which she does, and she unleashes her frustration by making out with a random girl and giving her number to a random guy at a bar.

Katelynn goes out on a date with the band guy but isn't feeling the chemistry enough to let him know that she is transgendered.  They have dinner and hang out a little but nothing transpires between them and she's left missing her boyfriend.  She loves him, whether he sucks or not.   Speaking of people in relationships, Ryan seemed to be struggling a bit keeping his girlfriend on his mind while in the presence of Baya.  While out dancing at a bar, Baya got a little too close and he quickly yelled out, "I have a girlfriend!"  This offended Baya (why, I'm not sure) and she keeps trying to say that she has no romantic feelings for Ryan.  Unfortunately for her, he doesn't feel the same way.  He tries to type up a super secret email to her letting her know that he would date her if the timing was different but MTV cameras capture all and it seems he'll have some explaining to do to his girlfriend now that the episode has aired.

Devyn can't help but be attracted to Scott but who can blame her?  Mr. Abs is just a hell of good looking guy and he's got a great personality to compliment it.  The only problem is that he has become the king of mixed signals and she can't tell what he wants from her.  She makes a BFF-o-meter, which marks the milestones in their friendships and will help determine if they will remain platonic or take it to the next level.  The meter is no help, as Scott has a girlfriend back home that he failed to mention.  Devyn wakes him up in the middle of the night to let him know that some people might be hurt by the way he behaves sometimes.  Some people?  Or Devyn?  It's too bad, since it seems Devyn and Scott would actually make a cute couple.

As for the other roomies, Chet hit on Scott's model friend and tried to get a date but it looks like he came up unsuccessful.  Sarah spent most of the episode doing what she does best: listening, offering advice, and providing support.  JD was mostly M.I.A. but didn't seem to approve that Katelynn was cheating on her boyfriend.  No more drunken chapstick rants from him.   Oh, Ryan tried to get representation for his music and failed.  He's actually talented and find him to be marketable, with his cute personality, good looks, and interesting songs.  He, for some reason, chose to sing "The Tampon Song" for a guy in industry, who said he didn't have time to hear any more and suggested he build his own following first.  The Tampon Song... really?!
