Today we had the pleasure speaking with Cassandra from "Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious". Cassandra is a 23 year old from Aurora, Illinois was eliminated last night and here’s what she had to say about her experience:
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): So what made you try out for the show?
Cassandra, (Girlicious): I used to watch the first season so I was familiar with the show and one day my boyfriend and I were watching and it said to apply so I ended up going down to an open call in Chicago and the rest is history.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): What was your favorite experience on the show?
Cassandra, (Girlicious): I am big on learning so being on the show and having the opportunity to work with Ken and Dave was great. I went into the competition without formal vocal training so being able to spend the time with great coaches was a great learning experience. Also my makeover was amazing.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): What was your worst time on the show?
Cassandra, (Girlicious): The last episode when we had to perform the Blondie song. I knew the song was going to be tough but I did my best to do a decent job with it.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): Did you end up making any friends while you were on the show?
Cassandra, (Girlicious): Yes. The show didn’t really show that Ilisa and I became friends in the beginning, the two of us just clicked. I also became friends with Charlye.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): Where there any girls you didn’t get along with or didn’t bond with?
Cassandra, (Girlicious): I am not a really dramatic person so I thought a lot of it was silly and tried to not get involved. Natalie was rude so I didn’t want to get close to her but really didn’t have a problem with any of the girls.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): Do you think the judging was fair?
Cassandra, (Girlicious): Yes. They had a system for weeding people out. I think they gave us a challenging song to see how we did, they were on the fence with us and wanted to see us either do better under pressure or fail.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): Are you a big reality fan?
Cassandra, (Girlicious): I have watched a lot of Reality shows like America’s Next Top Model, Girlicious and Flavor of Love but I mostly watch cartoons.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): Is there anything else you would like to add?
Cassandra, (Girlicious): Being on the show was an amazing experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I don’t think I would change anything if I had to do it over again, I worked hard and I stayed me. I appreciate all of my fans and feel free to contact me at www.Myspace.com/blackaneselady
