The final cut was handed in last night as America's votes made aspiring director Will Bigham the winner of FOX's summer filmmaking competition series ON THE LOT. Bigham, 31, a film editor born and raised in Canyon, TX, and currently living in Glendale, CA, with his wife and two daughters, received the most votes after last week's final "film premiere" show. On last night's season finale, he was awarded a $1-million DreamWorks studio development deal and handed the keys to his new office on the DreamWorks lot by the series' executive producer, Steven Spielberg.

Bigham's fellow finalists Jason Epperson of Winchester, KY, and Adam Stein of Miami, FL were eliminated as host Adrianna Costa revealed the voting results.

During the competition, Bigham was a consistent favorite of judges Carrie Fisher and Garry Marshall. Bigham directed seven original short films, including "Lucky Penny," "Glass Eye," Nerve Endings," "Spaghetti," "Unplugged," "Road Rage 101" and "The Yes Men."

ON THE LOT is produced by Mark Burnett Productions, DreamWorks Television and Amblin Television. Mark Burnett and Steven Spielberg are creators and executive producers. David Goffin is executive producer with Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey and Conrad Riggs co-executive producers.
