It seems that the argument between Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas that aired on Monday's performance episode of Dancing With The Stars is already behind them. The two had a heated discussion during rehearsals over the idea that Mark was disappointed he had Bristol as a partner, instead of Shawn Johnson or Sabrina Ryan. Mark competed with Sabrina during Season 5 and made it only to Week 6 despite her strong performances. In Season 8, he partnered Shawn and the two went on to win the mirrorball trophy.

This week, Mark confronted Bristol feeling that something was on her mind and she responded by saying that she felt he didn't want to be her partner. When he said that he felt her accusations were unfair, she broke down, saying that he's playing the victim card. Not only did she not feel he's there for her emotionally as a partner, he's not there physically either, even blowing off a rehearsal completely. In their performance this week, they scored the lowest from the judges with a 22.5, but managed to hang on, as Drew Lachey and Helio Castroneves were both eliminated.

After the episode, Mark told reporters backstage that the two have since moved on from their fight. "We're like family. We love each other," he said. "Sometimes people piss each other off. You guys know if you're in a personal relationship, working relationship, things happen and we carried on." He also pointed out that they never fought in Season 11 and that it was impressive that they made it this long without a disagreement. Bristol also added to the positivity saying, "Mark is reassuring and we got through this week and I'm thankful for it. I'm thankful that we got that fight out of the way and we're just moving along."
